Impressed Current Anode Impressed current cathodic protection is an effective method to prevent corrosion of underground metal structures such as pipelines, tanks and so on. The auxiliary anode is and important part of the impressed current system, which transfers the protective current to the surface of the protected structure through the medium. The underground structures impressed current cathodic protection anode usually does not directly be buried in the soil, but form the anode ground bed through filling the carbonaceous filler around the anode. The filler is used to decrease the grounding resistance of anode ground bed and prolong the service life of the anode. Classification of Impressed Current Anodes 1. Prepackaged High Silicon Cast Iron Anode A. Composition: Prepackaged high silicon cast iron anode is mainly composed of anode, filler coke, air guide pipe and the steel casing pipes and so on. B. Performance: low consumption rate, low grounding resistance, stable output current and voltage, convenient construction; widely used in cathodic protection construction. C. Application: auxiliary anode for impressed current cathodic protection system. D. The anode is deep into several tens of meters of wet soil, effectively reducing the grounding resistance, greatly improve the coverage of the cathodic protection system and extending the life of underground structures such as pipelines. This anode also saves the operation and maintenance cost of cathodic protection system. It is an ideal cathodic protection material for high soil resistivity. E. Specifications: AK-YJA-219*2000(Φ50*1500) AK-YJA-219*2000(Φ75*1500) Prepackaged High Silicon Iron Anode 2. High Silicon Cast Iron Anode The high silicon cast iron anode with chromium is the ideal auxiliary anode for the impressed current cathodic protection system. It is widely used for the protection and anti-corrosion of underground or underwater metal structures such as oil, natural gas, chemical plants ans water company. Our high silicon cast iron anode is manufactured according to the GB 8491-87 standard. A. Types: Various types of rod and tubular high silicon cast iron anodes are available. B. Implementing Standard: SYJ36-89 C. Main Performance: Extremely strong acid corrosion resistance; widely used auxiliary anode material for impressed current cathodic protection system. D.Main Application: Widely used for the impressed current cathodic protection in offshore oil drilling platforms, underground pipes, underground cables and other facilities.

Zinc Alloy Sacrificial Anode

Zinc Alloy Sacrificial Anode Aluminum-Zinc-Cadmium series (ZAC Series) is a sacrificial anode casted by high purity zinc and aluminum, cadmium alloy. This product is appovedby CCS and its quality standards is in accordance with the GB/T4950-2002 standard. The zinc anode chemical compostion conforms to the standard of US MIL-A-18001H and ASTM-B418 (Type 1). The anode used for pipelines is at the same time in line with SY/T0019-97 ‘Design Code fo Sacrificial Anode Cathodic Protection of Buried Steel Pipeline’. Implementing Standard: GB/T4950-2002 Main Performance: Anode has small autolysis, high current efficiency and excellent self-regulating property when current occurs. Its protection period is long up to 20 to 30 years, generally no ‘over protection’ phenomenon occuring. Application: Zinc alloy sacrificial anode is used for the metal anti-corrosion cathodic protection of the ships, water ballast tanks, mechanical equipment, marine engineering and port facilities, drilling platform, warfs, seawater condenser, pump in sea water medium as well as the pipes and cables in low resistivity soil. Zinc Ribbon Anode

Zinc Ribbon Anode The diamond shaped zinc ribbon anode conforms to the standard of ASTM-B418 (type 1/type2) and has good mechanical properties. Zinc ribbon anode is mainly used for pipeline inside the casing protection, temporary cathodic protection of pipeline, storage tank and pipeline protection, prevention of high voltage circuit of buried pipeline AC interference and the lightning interference . Ribbon zinc anode are usually used in the medium with electrical resistivity below 2000Ω·cm. If the steel structure is protected by a good coating or in the case of soil moisture, it can be used in medium with electrical resistivity higher than 2000Ω·cm. Implementing Standard ASTM-B148 GB/T4950-2002 SY/T0019-97 Main Features Good flexibility, simple installation, uniform current distribution, high current efficiency Main Application Mainly used for protection of high resistivity environment of soil and water, the narrow space of local situations, casing pipe, pipeline temporary cathodic protection, storage tank and pipeline protection, anti-electromagnetic interference of the grounding grid. Product Performance 1. Good flexibility, easy to install, easy to make anodes in various length and shapes such as spiral shape and disc shape. 2. Uniform current distribution, high current efficiency, more than 95% 3. Can be adapted to environment with higher resistivity; 4. No need for external power supply, having a continous conductive core and less electric connection; 5. Can pass through the narrow local place and harsh environment, more flexible application; 6. Small ground resistance and large current per unit weight; 7. Zinc anode can be used in fresh water and sea water environment, as well as be used in underground structures. 8. Can be used to connect earth electrode, releasing exchanging and thunder and lightning to protect equipment and personal safety.
